AK 5K

First race of Distance Nationals ’09 is down, the 5/10k classic. The courses here in Fairbanks are freaking sweet, perfect for classic striding. Even though I tend to do better in longer races, I had so much fun with this one that I ended up doing pretty good! Which definitely gives me good momentum for the rest of the series! I’m going to sit out on the team sprint today, to concentrate on the 15k pursuit and 30k classic coming up this weekend. My teammates are racing though, so I’m going to go, cheer them on, and take lots and lots of pictures! And here are a few random ones from yesterday:
