Ski and Tea Rocks the Bear Chase
Hayward can seem a little isolated at times, but one of the things it definitely has going for it is a HUGE community of active people, especially women. If I write a lot about the Ski and Tea ladies, it’s because I would probably go crazy here if it wasn’t for them. This pic is of the ones who went up for the Bear Chase (np: Jenny-O), and it’s just the perfect example of why I love them so much. They cover all ages, all speeds, and all ability levels. They had someone entered in every single event. And every single lady in this picture has a big, huge, happy to be there, love to ski smile on their face. Which is awesome.
Plus, the bear costume is ridiculous. Scruff McGuff?
